http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/11/world/africa/will-handshake-with-castro-lead-to-headache-for-obama.html?_r=0

When I was a kid, and I was fighting with another kid, and my parent or teacher wanted me to signify an attempt at resolving the conflict they always made us shake hands. Sometimes that handshake felt very insincere. And it didn't necessarily mean that the conflict was totally resolved or that we were gonna become best friends or that we even liked each other but it was, at least, a step in the right direction at ending that fight. They had the wisdom and maturity to understand that, even though it was just a handshake, sometimes these token gestures of civility are the first steps to ending conflict.

I know most people that know of me (10 people?) see me as extreme.

Keeping myself out of this, just ask Noam Chomsky or Dr. Cornell West how trustworthy Obama is.
